TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HEALTH AND VACCINATIONS
1.It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Cloud Ten Cat Hotel of any injuries, ailments or pre-existing illness your cat has, also any traits that your cat may have.
1.1 Cloud Ten Cat Hotel reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health.
1.2 All cats are examined on arrival and the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission of any cat showing signs of ill health. Owners will appreciate that this is essential to safeguard the health of all cats boarded with us.
1.3 Only cats from the same household may share accommodation, if deemed necessary the proprietor may take the decision to separate cats which are not living harmoniously. This will incur an extra fee if another suite is taken for this purpose.
1.4 Male cats over the age of six months that have not been neutered will not be accommodated.
1.5 It is our terms of boarding that all cats must have a valid Vaccination certificate of immunisation against Feline Influenza & Feline Enteritis. You may wish to have your cats vaccinated against Feline Leukaemia and Chlamydia although these are optional at present. Vaccinations & boosters must be completed at least four weeks before arrival and no more than 12 months prior to your cats stay. Four weeks is the maximum time necessary for vaccines to become fully effective. A shorter time period is acceptable if suitable veterinary evidence is provided based on manufacturers instructions. Certificate must be shown to the proprietor on arrival and will be held by Cloud Ten Cat Hotel for the duration of boarding.
1.6 Please make sure that your cat is covered by its flea and worming treatment while boarding in the cattery. If your cat shows signs of flea or worm infestation it will be treated with an appropriate product and the cost of the treatment, which will not be less than £15 per cat, will be added to your invoice.
1.7 Veterinary attendance will be sought if deemed necessary and any treatment will be carried out if advised. Veterinary fees are the responsiblity of the owner. We will endeavour to use your vet should the need arise and will do our best to contact you but where there is difficulty we will consult our retained Vet. It has become necessary for us to also charge a fee for veterinary visits to cover our time and travel whilst we are attending to your cat, also where necessary extra cattery staffing cover. These are are follows: £50.00 per visit, first hour then £25.00 per additional hour. Additional charges will be incurred for out of hours/emergency attendance.
1.8 We are local to Vets in Witney, Carterton, Burford, Abingdon, Eynsham, Farringdon, Finstock and more.
1.9 While all possible care and attention will be given, cats are boarded entirely at the owner’s risk. The management cannot be liable for illness, injury or death of any animal in their care.
2. We are happy to accommodate cats on medication and/or prescription/premium food diets. These must be provided by the owner in clearly labelled containers stating the cat’s name, the frequency and/or dosage requirements. We do not charge extra to administer medications, nor do we reduce daily rates for foods supplied by the owner.
2.1 All collars will be removed and kept in a safe place; this is for the cat’s safety/comfort. Collars will be returned to the owner when they collect their cat.
TERMS OF ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
2.3 Unless by prior arrangement, all arrivals and collections of cats must be made during cattery hours (9-10am or 4-5pm, Monday to Saturday) We are not open on Sunday for drop off or collections.
2.4 Parking – Cloud Ten Cat Hotel has parking for all customers promptly picking up & dropping off their Cats.
2.5 Transportation – Owners are urged to transport their cat in a suitable secure basket or carrier between home & cattery. Cloud Ten Cat Hotel cannot be held responsible for any loss of the cat where this advice is not observed. The carrier should be left at Cloud Ten Cat Hotel
2.6 Departures – If you will not be collecting your cat yourself, please ensure that the person you send will be able to handle your cat safely, and that we are made aware that someone else will be making the collection.
2.7 Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your cat if you are delayed in picking them up, please ensure you have made provisions for someone to collect and take care of them until your return.
2.8 Cloud Ten Cat Hotel reserve the right to re-home any cat not collected within fourteen days of their scheduled departure date. If after making reasonable efforts, we have not been able to agree suitable arrangement terms with the owner and/or emergency contact.
BOOKING, DEPOSIT AND FEE TERMS
2.9 Cloud Ten Cat Hotel require a 25% deposit of your fee (minimum £25.00) to secure your booking, we will hold your reservation for no more than 3 days without deposit. The first £25.00 of this deposit is non-refundable.
3.0 Balance of Payment must be made in full on or by the day of your cat’s arrival and any extra fees that have occurred paid at departure.
3.1 In common with most boarding catteries terms our fees are charged per day, including the day of arrival and day of departure, there is no reduction in this fee if your pet is dropped off PM or collected early AM nor are you charged extra for early drop off and the later collection time. This allows flexibility for you without additional charge.
3.2 Cancellation & amendments must be made and put in writing (email) a minimum of 21 days before boarding. Cancellations of less than this will be charged at the full rate of the period booked, unless a short-notice replacement booking arrives. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds outside of the 21 day cancellation period for short term cancellations due to Covid reasons. Although we do sympathise with our customers having to cancel holidays it is unattainable for our small business to continue to offer refunds, therefore we strongly suggest that you have suitable insurance cover incase of this eventuality.
3.3 There will be no reduction in fees for late arrivals or early departure.
3.4 Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day are charged at double the daily rate if booking is less than 7 days. Bookings for the Christmas/New year period, Must be paid in full at time of booking and are non refundable within 28days of the period booked.
3.5 Please note – There is a minimum stay charge of three days, regardless if your cat stays for any less. For example, a two-night stay is charged as three days.
3.6 We accept payment by cash or bank transfer. (Please ask for our details if you wish to pay by bank transfer) we also accept all major debit and credit cards.
